From as far back as I can remember, I have always been interested in art in one form or another. I have dabbled in drawing, copper enameling, leatherwork, painting, clay sculpture and screen printing. I have always had many interests but never spent much time on any one thing, until now.
I retired from being a Portland Firefighter after 30 years of service and moved to a forested property in Corbett. I began using the natural materials found on my property to make twig furniture. There is something about the beauty of wood in its natural form that I love and appreciate.
Music is an art form that is a big part of my life. When I am not harvesting wood or building furniture, I can be found singing and playing my ukulele.
